JOIN THE MOVEMENT
How You Can Contribute
Whether you’re a master craftsperson selling your wares, a musician looking to share your craft, or someone with a truck, tools, and time to lend a hand—there’s a role for you here.
Explore the participation tiers below to find where your talents, trade, or community spirit fits best within our upcoming gatherings.
Vendors & Homesteaders
Share your hand-crafted goods or showcase historical mountain living techniques. We offer spaces for both modern commercial vendors and immersive period setups.
- Standard Marketplace: 10'x10' pop-up tent setups for artisan goods, crafts, food, and local wares.
- Homestead Row: Period-accurate canvas setups and historical craft demonstrations preserving pioneer-era skills.
Performers & Minstrels
Bring the sound and story of the mountains to life! We are seeking talented traditional musical acts, storytellers, and roaming street performers for our bi-annual gatherings.
- Main Stage Acts: Regional bluegrass, old-time string bands, gospel, and traditional Appalachian acoustic musicians.
- Strolling Performers: Minstrels, magicians, historical reenactors, and walk-around entertainers.
Build & Operations Crew
Every great gathering requires a strong foundation. We’re looking for skilled tradespeople, builders, and individuals with specialized equipment to help construct and manage the grounds.
- Carpenters & Builders: Stage construction, timber framing, and site structure fabrication.
- Equipment & Assets: Utility trailers, generators, sound rigs, and hauling support.
- Parking & Traffic: Site flow direction, load-in coordination, and grounds safety support.
Community Volunteers
Want to lend a helping hand, meet your neighbors, and support mountain heritage? Our general volunteer team helps keep the gathering warm, welcoming, and organized for all.
- Greeting & Tickets: Welcoming guests, helping at entry gates, and assisting attendees.
- Hospitality: Supporting artisans, musicians, and guest speakers behind the scenes.
- Event Setup/Teardown: Pre-event staging and post-event grounds restoration.
